Crock Pot Ham Recipe with Pineapple Brown Sugar Glaze
If I’m looking for an easy Easter dinner (or a Sunday dinner) for a crowd, a crock pot of ham is my go-to choice. The slow cooker does all the work heating the ham without heating the house.
Cooking the ham in the pot also leaves my oven free, so I can cook dessert (like a raspberry galette!) or a side dish (like a cheesy potato galette!).
This 4 ingredients pineapple brown sugar glaze makes a regular spiral sliced ham flavor totally amazing. Just the right amount of sweetness and sour of the pineapple. This is family favorite!

How long does it take to cook a ham in the slow cooker?
Slow cooker ham means hands-off cooking! For an Easter Sunday main course, this is about as hands-off as you get (unless you have pizza 😉 Order.
- Stir in the easy brown icing.
- Place the glaze on the ham (get it between those spiral discs!)
- Top with pineapple slices.
- Cook on low for 3-4 hours.
You know it happens when a meat thermometer registers an internal temperature of 145°F. (A digital meat thermometer like this makes it easy to read the temp.)
Before serving, baste it with the remaining juices and let it sit for 10 minutes to let the juices soak in and do their job.
Do you need a bigger pot to match your ham? Why not a nice one like this Pioneer Woman slow cooker? or a nice Disney crockpot or Mickey Mouse crockpot!
