How come our kitchen countertops always seem to be a magnet for clutter?
Groceries, piles of mail and kitchen utensils always seem to find their way to my counters. Frankly, organizing isn't something I'm good at. But I'm working on it. Sometimes you just need the right tools for the job.
Today I collected some useful items to reduce kitchen clutter.
I love kitchen utensil holders because they are both decorative and functional. I am in favor of white stoneware with wooden utensils.
Finding a home for breads and bakery rolls is no longer a problem with this beautiful bread box with wooden lid.
Going vertical and using wall space is another way to give yourself more storage space. This magnetic knife strip and tool holder can keep everyday objects within arm's length.
If your stack of mail always ends up on the counters, this wall organizer can help.
One thing I do in my small kitchen is try to make ordinary things look more decorative so that I can keep them in plain sight. I especially love this beautiful set of oil and vinegar cruets.
These decorative salt and pepper mills also caught my attention.
Display the aforementioned cruets and the salt and pepper mills on this marble lazy susan for an attractive countertop organizer.
These simple kitchen wall shelves offer you many storage and display options. Use them for mugs, spices, canning jars or whatever you can think of.
An over-the-door closet organizer would also be useful for many items.
Keep all your fruit in a nice white bowl.
Use different heritage glass jars to store and display cookies, flour, pasta or candy!
Create extra storage space with a small kitchen trolley, I especially like this with the butcher block top.
I hope this has given you a few ideas for reducing the countertop in your kitchen!
